YOTI Verification: Verify Your Identity and Get Access to Payment Methods

Calling all new TrafficJunky advertisers! Have you completed the YOTI Identity verification?  

What is YOTI? Who needs to complete it? 

YOTI is a third-party tool used to electronically verify your identity.

Who needs to complete the verification?

TrafficJunky heavily encourages all advertisers to complete the verification. Doing so ensures your account complies with our Trust and Safety policies and allows you to make payments towards your TrafficJunky account using Cryptocurrency, wire transfers, and 2000Charge payment methods.

How to Complete the YOTI Identity Verification

Step 1: Submit an image of your ID Document. You may either upload an image of your ID document or take a photo of it using your device.

Step 2: Complete a quick facial scan. The YOTI software compares this scan to your ID document to identify a match and verify your account information.

Does YOTI store your information?

YOTI uses your ID document and the facial scan to identify an identity match. After you have become YOTI Identity Verified, you can opt to view and remove your biometric consent.

Complete the YOTI Verification by Uploading an Image of Your ID Document

Step 1: Upload an image of your ID document.

  1. Have images of the front and back of your id document saved on your device before you begin. Make sure they are centered and in focus. 
  2. On the Add Funds page, select a payment method that requires a completion of the YOTI Identity Verification (Crypto, Wire Transfer, 2000Charge).
  3. Click Start Verification Process 


  4. You will see a YOTI popup. Click Get Started.  
  5. Select your Issuing Country and ID Document type, then click Continue.



  6. Click Upload a Photo 



  7. Click Browse Files. This will open the file browser for your device. 



  8. Select the image that is the front of your ID, click Open to upload, then click Continue.

How to Use Your Device’s Camera to Complete the YOTI Identity Verification

Step 1: Take a photo of your ID document using your device’s camera.

  1. On the Add Funds page, select one of the payment methods that requires a succesful YOTI Identity Verification.
  2. Click Start Verification process



  3. You will see a YOTI popup. Click Get Started.
  4. Select the Issuing Country of your ID document type, then click continue.



  5. Hold the front of your ID document up to your camera and ensure it is centered and in focus
  6. Click Take Photo
  7. Hold the back of your ID document up to your camera and ensure it is centered and in focus.
  8. Click Take Photo

Step 2: Complete a quick scan of your face. The YOTI Software compares this scan to the image on your ID document to identify a match.

  1. Click Continue. 



  2. Check the box to give consent to YOTI, then click Continue. 



  3. Click Start Scan 
  4. Line your face with the on-screen oval, then click I’m Ready to begin the scan. 



  5. Verification steps are now complete. Please wait 10 minutes for a status update on your account.
     

  6.  You will receive an email telling you if you passed or failed.

  1. Go to My Profile and scroll down to Consent and Authorization 
  1. You should see your Biometric Information Consent and Authorization 
     
  1. If you want to remove consent for the collection of biometric information, click Remove Consent.
